The Illusion Prophecies

Image

The poisoning of purity has commenced
Ideals and dreams have been coyly fenced
Our personalities , we readily sacrifice
To join the flock , we pay the price.
Emanate stress for ourselves , how sardonic
As we wage wars to balance the harmonics.

Oblivious to serendipity , we’re breathing mannequins
Unaware of our voice , government’s harlequins
Our lives have been minutely choreographed
While hypocritical adults merely watch and laugh
Losing the sense of taste , the necromancer approves
We sing absurd songs , dance disgraceful moves.

We are our own apocalypse , so pay close attention
In cruelty and stupidity , there lies no celebration
Ones that glow profusely , smile with sky touching curves
Wallowing in bitterness , belongs to those who don’t observe
A piece of cake to rhapsodize , about a colorful spectrum
The world’s an abomination and I refuse to be a victim.

  1. Powerful writing – well said!

  2. This is dripping with truth, especially the last part! Very well done, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
