Nobody can and nobody will
Grasp the thoughts swimming in my cerebrum
Words , you’re all I have
Pretentious poet that I am
My silence equals
Selfish , egotistical , oblivious
Why would I be ? Forgive my indignation
You lack experience in the curry of thoughts clogged in brains
Struggling to be spilled out
Unable to concentrate , Unable to fathom
A puzzle myself , I try to fix
And you say with such certainty
Of my indifference , just another
ungrateful teenager in the entire lot
Twist my explanation right back at me
Because you yourself cannot comprehend
the depth of words that rhyme
hold a life-altering meaning
than your shallow minds
I nod at your poor advice
As I continue to
shut up
and
write.
